This CGC 9.4 copy was previously graded as a CGC 8.5 due to the existence of a "very minor amount of glue on cover." A prior owner obviously had the glue removed, an act which is not considered to be restoration, and the book was then upgraded by CGC. The book was also pressed.
Though this beauty is tied with one other as the highest certified copy
in existence, the Mile High pedigree places it in a class by itself! If
you want to finally own a book from one of the most sought after
pedigrees, the prices don't go much lower than this.
H. C. Kiefer cover and art. If you want to say you own a Mile High/Edgar Church pedigree book, here is an affordable one!
Overstreet 2005 NM- 9.2 value = $215.
Recent comparable sales: A CGC 9.6 copy with Cream to Off-White
garnered a $431.25 bid at the August 2005 Heritage auction but didn't meet the
$460 reserve. A beautiful copy, but it is no Mile High!!!!
